Here we are at 215 Main Street in Annapolis, Maryland!
McBride Gallery was established in 1980 near Annapolis' historic City Dock. In 1990 the gallery moved to larger quarters in one of the oldest buildings on upper Main Street.

The land was originally owned by William Paca, a Maryland signer of the Declaration of Independence. The gallery has maintained the colonial character of the Georgian styled home with three of the original fireplaces.

McBride Gallery is one of the largest galleries in Annapolis with 7 rooms of original art representing 60 artists. New art arrives every week. The highest quality paintings, sculpture and original graphics are featured in a home-like setting. McBride Gallery hosts 6 shows a year with receptions to meet the artists.

Annapolis has over 20 art galleries within walking distance. The Annual Annapolis Art Walk, on the third Thursday evening in August offers an opportunity for art lovers to see artists and artisans demonstrating their talents. See the Show Schedule for show opening dates.

The City of Annapolis is designated a Top 25 Arts Destination by American Style Magazine and one of the Top Ten Most Walkable Cities. Annapolis was home to the last Liberty Tree standing of all of the 13 colonies.
